If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and inspiring to write your great novel, paint your masterpiece or just get away from the pressures and stresses of your daily life, you’ll find Renaissance is a perfect venue for your private retreat.

We have several periods throughout the year, including summer peak times and Christmas / New Year when we can accommodate private retreats or holiday bookings.

We are happy to accommodate either single or group bookings.

Families with children are also welcome. The house can sleep up to twelve persons. All private bookings are self-catering. In the case of holiday bookings a TV, Radio / Stereo and DVD player plus small DVD library can be made available at no extra charge. We will charge a supplement during the winter for the use of logs.

Please submit the form below to enquire about prices and availability.

Accommodation

Renaissance is an 18th century stone barn, tastefully converted, yet retaining its rustic heritage and acts as the inspiring venue for these retreats.

Full board, including meals (as listed below), is included in the course fee.

The facilities, such as bathrooms / showers are shared. The bedrooms sleep either 2 or 3 persons and we encourage sharing a room, as we believe that this adds to the supportive environment and facilitates the community spirit of the courses.

If you prefer a single room then it might be possible to accommodate you, depending on availability. In these cases a single room supplement would apply. Those wishing to book a course with a friend or partner, with whom they can share a room, would also be offered a discount on booking. (See cost / fee / price page for full details of course costs and all available discounts.)
Meals

We will provide all meals, including breakfast, lunch and dinner and all refreshments during breaks, except for one evening meal on the half-day off. On this evening participants are encouraged to go out and experience the local cuisine and restaurants.

Breakfast and Lunch will be a traditional French buffet, including fresh fruit, pastries from the local boulangerie, variety of cheeses, salads, cooked meats, freshly baked bread.

The evening meals are delicious specially prepared three-course meals, cooked in the traditional French country style popular in this area.

All meals will be healthy, prepared on site and using fresh, local produce.

Wine will also be served at the evening meal (included in the course fee) and then available afterwards on an “honesty box” policy.
Transfers

Transfers to and from the local French airport are also included in the course package.
